Affiliate Marketing: How to Add Bonuses to Your Offers


One of the best ways to make your affiliate offers different and add more value is to offer bonuses. You may offer an extra ebook, a piece of software, or some other related offer.

You don’t want to offer just any old bonus though; you want to offer bonuses that are related to the product you are selling.

There are several ways to create bonuses for your offers.

First, you may want to look for private label rights or resale rights related to the product you are selling. If you’re using private label rights, rewrite the information to improve what’s in the package. Redesign the cover if it has one.

You may even want to record it as an audio. Many consider audio to be more valuable than an ebook. Video is another option. There are plenty of free tools to help you create audio and video. You’ll find these in software directories. Just look for software that is listed as freeware.

Another offer you may want to consider is some type of membership. All you need to create the membership is an autoresponder and a subscription page. Write a weekly message and include tips related to the product you have sold your visitors. Show them how to get more out of the product.

The side benefit here is that this will allow you to build a list of customers. Customer lists are far more valuable because the person has previously bought from you.

If you don’t want to create your own bonuses, as I mentioned before, you may also use resale rights. Resale rights are where you buy the rights to redistribute a product. The key here is to buy resales rights to products that will allow you to redistribute them as a bonus.

Ebook directories are another place to get bonuses. Although what most directories offer is free, you may stumble upon a good ebook that is worth adding as a bonus. Just make sure that it is OK to give away whatever you find. Follow the copyright rules listed by the author.

After you have found your bonuses, you will want to create a page on your website with your offer.  Explain your offer and show your visitors what they gain by buying the product from you. Show them how to collect the bonus.

Automate as much of the process as you possibly can. Create a special bonus page where you send your visitors to download the bonuses.

You want to make it as easy as possible for your visitors to get your bonus. Don’t make them jump through a lot of hoops to get it. Otherwise, you may lose a few sales. Since affiliates seldom have much contact with the customers they sell to (the merchant handles the customer service), it’s a good idea to put your best foot forward. Deliver good customer service here.

Adding bonuses to your affiliate offerings will help you make more money. By adding value to the product, you give others an added incentive to buy from you.
