I’m not much for reading free ebooks anymore because it seems like it’s all about selling you something. That’s not to say there aren’t some good free ebooks out there because there are (Think Ewen Chia’s Affiliate Money Machine).

I am a big fan of the Rhodes Brothers. Some of the best ideas I’ve gotten about marketing my business, as well as product creation, I’ve gotten from them. They actually make doing some of this stuff easy.

By now I’m sure you’re probably tired of hearing me talk about Facebook. That’s OK because Facebook isn’t the only social networking site on the internet, and truthfully, if you’re serious about reaching your customers, niche social networking sites are more effetive.

ZD Net blogger Steve O’Hear wrote a post not too long ago about 12 different niche social networking sites. You’ll find everything from pets to nurses to movies over there. These communities won’t be as large as Facebook or MySpace, but they might just be more targeted to what you are selling.
