When I first read this ebook, what an eye opener! In fact, I had to laugh at some of the parts of it because it really highlighted many of the things that are not only wrong with marketing in MLM, but with marketing in general.

Ann Sieg really didn’t cut any corners in writing this. She exposes everything that’s wrong with the MLM industry, and how you can avoid using techniques that just plain don’t work, and start using techniques that do work.

Here are some examples:

1. Appeal to the emotions of your potential recruits. If you want to successfully recruit others into your opportunity, you have to change your focus. You need to focus on THEM, not you. You can have the greatest product in the world, but if you don’t make that emotional connection with others, they won’t be interested in what you have to offer.

Now, let me qualify this: before you can recruit others into your opportunity, you have to prequalify them as being interested in what you have to offer. You can’t market to anyone and everyone.

2. Stay away from hype and outrageous claims. If the person you’re trying to recruit expresses disinterest, don’t make even bigger claims. He/she didn’t believe you in the first place. Although you definitely want to stick to an emotional appeal, you want to be believable.

3. Don’t sell the benefits of your company. Most people could care less.

There’s more, but I don’t want to waste your time with all of the ways the industry may be doing things wrong.

In Chapter 3, Ann gives you 13 pages of strategies to help you save your business from dying a slow death and help you start making money.

In Chapter 4, Ann helps you really understand what you are selling. In her words,

“Here’s what I’m getting at that you absolutely must understand:
People Don’t Buy Products. They Buy Solutions.” (page 46)

Sound advice. In fact, it’s one of the most profound pieces of advice I’ve read. It’s very effective too. I first learned about it from reading Jay Abraham, and I’ve never forgotten it. You shouldn’t either because if you apply this to your business, you’ll see some major results.

Now, although this is an ebook that is meant to teach MLMers how to market their businesses online (and it’s the best I’ve ever read), this really is an ebook for anyone who wants to learn how to market online. The advice is solid, and it reminded me that there were definitely some basics I needed to get back to in internet marketing, i.e. showing my readers and customers what’s in it for them, as well as offering solutions, and not just products, to help them deal with whatever problems they may have in internet marketing.

One thing that I liked about this ebook is that she shows you some of the results that others have gotten from using the techniques included in this ebook. How much would your MLM business benefit if you were getting 10 – 20 new recruits every month? How much more would your business benefit if you were teaching your new recruits what you learned from reading this ebook because not only could you get 10 – 20 new recruits each month, but you could also teach your recruits how to do the same.

You’d really have a business then, and you’d be making the kind of money that would give you what you were looking for when you signed up for that opportunity.

To be honest, I really don’t know how to communicate to you just how good, and how valuable this ebook really is. If you read Ann’s “7 Great Lies of Network Marketing”, then you already know the kind of quality and value that Ann creates in her writing.

This information is really valuable, and if you’re trying to make your MLM work, and you’re failing, then this is definitely the missing ingredient.

If you really want to make money from MLM, this ebook is definitely a must have. You may make a few enemies when your business takes off, but that will only be because your naysayers aren’t making any money, and they want to trade places with you.

For those who want solid marketing information on how to market their MLM businesses, the kind that will make you real money, then this is the ebook I recommend. Regardless of your level of experience, the principles outlined in this ebook will help you.
