I've read a couple of those 7 dollar ebooks (the Jon Leger ones) and there's some very good content in there. I like the format (who has time to read a 200 page ebook anymore?) and appreciate information being distilled into a few content-dense pages. Length definitely doesn't lessen their value to me.
