In my next post, I’ll be telling you about some great places you can go to find hot niches to build your business around. Although internet marketing is highly lucrative as a niche, with all of its subniches, the truth is, internet marketing is only about two percent of the commerce that takes place online.

That means that the other 98 percent of what happens online is something else.

Truthfully, if I had it to do over again, I would have learned everything I could about internet marketing and then gotten away from it. There are so many other things that I’m interested in and prefer talking about, and there are a lot of niches out there that will make you a whole lot more money than internet marketing will. (I know this because the more I branch out, the more money I make, and it has nothing to do with internet marketing.)

Finding the right products to sell though as an affiliate can be tough though. You want to make sure that you choose the right niche, as well as get in early on promoting a product. You also need to consider trends, as well as things like holidays. Christmas decorations will always sell better in November than they will in July.

Although PayDotCom and Clickbank are only two of the affiliate networks online where you can find products to sell, and they mainly deal with digital (Clickbank is digital and memberships), they are an important part of online commerce. If you’re looking for lucrative commissions where you can make a lot of money, these two sites definitely aren’t to be ignored.
