It is not just the beginning of a new day, it is also the beginning of a new year. This is the time that we look ahead and start planning our new year’s resolutions (If you haven’t done that already.)

The problem with resolutions is that we often don’t stick to them. Nothing gets done, a new year rolls around, and we’re back to where we were.

This year I want to encourage you to do something different. Don’t just make resolutions; set goals. Set daily goals, weekly goals, monthly goals, yearly goals.

Before you do that though, the first step you need to take is to really ask yourself what you want. What do you truly want out of life more than anything else?

Once you have made this decision, then you have something to work with.

The next step is to decide how you will achieve what you want. Now if your goal is to earn $1,000,000 or something like that, a really big goal, then there will be a lot of steps involved. You can’t accomplish a goal like that in one day, and you may not even be able to accomplish a goal like that in one year.

You can, however, come up with a plan, set a realistic date to achieve your goal, and then take the steps necessary to achieve your goal.

When setting this goal, I highly recommend that this be the overall goal for your life. Then you can break it down into smaller goals you can reach. Set daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goals that will help you achieve this.

Reaching your goals isn’t about positive thinking. It’s not enough to believe that you can reach your goal. Although this is a start, it’s only the beginning. The secret, the key, to living the life you want involves taking action, the step where most fail.

The one thing that has helped me more in this area than anything else is Simpleology by Mark Joyner.

What this course does is help you to set realistic goals, and it shows you how to achieve them. Joyner uses repetition to help reinforce the lessons so that you understand the information and take the steps. The best part is that this course is free.

It has done more for helping me to reach my goals than anything else I have done.

There are 20 lessons in the course, and they are in the following form: written, audio, and video. You start each day by watching the lesson. Then you take a short quiz.

Next, you read the lesson from the book and then listen to it. It will take you about 15 minutes a day to complete the lessons. Once you have gone through all 20 lessons, you go back through them again, further reinforcing what you have learned.

It doesn’t end there though. Joyner teaches you how to set goals and determine what you really want. You read through those goals each day to help you stay on track.

You use the Daily Praxis to help you zero in on what you need to do each day to reach those goals.

Read, study, apply. If you take those three steps, you will master Simpleology, and it will help you reach your goals a lot faster because you will be more productive.

Get started today and really reach your goals this year. This course will teach you everything you need to know, and it’s free.
