Intermediate Link Building Tactics & Resolutions for 2009 – Website Magazine – Website Magazine

I recently read, and it might have been at Website Magazine, that linking in the most important factor in your search engine marketing campaign. If you want your website to rank high in the search engines, once you optimize your website for the search engines, the next thing you need to do is build a link campaign.

I use Web CEO for all of my search engine optimization. One of the reasons is that it’s free, but it also includes all of the tools I need to optimize my websites for the search engines and help them rank well.

One thing I do want to mention about linking is that when you exchange links with other sites, you want to make sure that the links you exchange are relevant to your site. That means they need to be related to the topic of your site. You don’t want to link to your competitors, but you do want to link to sites that are relevant to what you do.

Article writing is another way to build backlinks, and it allows you to build valuable one way backlinks to your website. This is the main way I use to build backlinks to my websites, and I’ve been very successful at it.
