These last couple of months have really been a nightmare with my sites. I converted most of my sites to blogs so that I could publish the very best videos, articles, and news on the topics of internet marketing, small business, and writing to help my readers.
My sites were on an old server for my web hosting company, and the change caused the server to run so slow that the web hosting company shut down my accounts.
Now my sites are on a faster server, but there were problems with my Wordpress plugins. If you have cron jobs you’re not using, or too many, or you have Wordpress plugins that hog resources, it can slow your sites down. Even though I was on a faster server, cron jobs and plugins were still slowing down my sites.
Yesterday the server went down and had to be replaced. That was an all day job. Now the server is fixed and is back up. I’ve tweaked all of my sites to run as fast as possible, as well as caching the pages so that they show up faster.
Hopefully there won’t be any more problems. I have quite a bit of information to share with you, and I want to get it posted.
