Problems with Craig’s List

I’ve been selling an ebook called Craig’s List Traffic. Quite frankly, I’m about ready to delete the thing and not sell it anymore.

The reason why is ever since this ebook came out, it’s caused a lot of trouble for those trying to post ads on Craig’s List.

First, I received an email from someone who claimed I was fraudulent in my claim that I was the only one you could buy this product from.

This is false. There are quite a few people who are selling this product, but the main site wasn’t selling it at the time that I wrote “If you want to sell it, you’ll have to sell it through me.”

The reason for this is that usually, when webmasters set up these $7 offers, they set them up so only their customers can sell them. If you bought from me, then you’d have to sell through my site, or, if you wanted to sell through someone else, you’d have to buy it again through them to set up the link.

I wasn’t trying to be fraudulent in any way. This was about trying to help my customers who had bought the ebook through me. I was trying to make it easy for them to set up their links and sell the product.

The original Craig’s List Traffic site is up. If you want to buy through that site instead of buying through mine, that’s fine. I won’t be offended.

Craig’s List Traffic

The difference between this site and the one I set up (I have resale rights), is that I offer extra bonuses on this package.

They include:

Encyclopedia of Free Advertising

35 Free Classifieds - This is an original report I wrote that tells you the top free classified ad sites. I’ve added them to the Adwizard Database, as well as cleaned up the database. It now contains the top 35 free classified ad sites, as well as about 65 free classified ad sites. The software is freeware, so all you have to do is a search to find it. If you want the updated database, it’s a bonus in this package.

Again, there was never any intent on my part to defraud anyone. I have written this person back and demanded an apology. His email was insulting, and after doing a search on the internet for him, I’ve found some of his tactics to be deceptive.

If you are still interested in the Craig’s List Traffic Package I sell, then you can get it here:

I’ve also built a Squidoo lens on advertising using free classifieds, and you’ll find it here:

The Newbie’s Guide to Marketing Using Free Classified Ads

In my next post, I’ll be talking about Craig’s List and give you some tips on using this site. Personally, I like US Free Ads better. It doesn’t have the hassles of Craig’s List.

Google likes US Free Ads. I also use Adpost. Yahoo seems to be in love with this one.

Anyway, I’ll explain all of this in my next post.
