Realizing SEO Benefits Quickly Through Blogging
Although I didn’t mention this when I was talking about search engine optimization earlier, blogging is a great way to get high rankings in the search engines. The search engines love them because they’re so search engine friendly (cleaner code), and they’re usually updated frequently.
This article tells you the advantages of using a blog for search engine optimization.
Here’s a few tips of my own:
1. Use permalinks. These are static links. Since they’re considered permanent, they get indexed more easily.
2. Use tags. This helps readers understand what the post is about, and sites like Technorati use it to categorize your blog.
3. Optimize your header information. Wordpress makes this easy with a plugin to do it. This way, the header information the search engines see for your pages is different. This can help you get indexed and rank high for different keywords.
4. Use a sitemap. This makes it easy to get your site indexed. You can automate the whole process by using a plugin. If you don’t host your own blog, use Blogger. Google ranks Blogger blogs higher because this is a Google site.
5. Ping your blog. This lets the blog directories and RSS directories know you’ve updated your blog. You can use a site like Pingomatic.

Your post mentioned some plugins to use when blogging. It would be a great help if when you do mention something that will benefit your readers that you also include a link to whatever helper you’ve talked about.

If you want plugins to optimize your blog for the search engines, search for sitemap. This will show you the plugins for sitemaps. This is an easy way to help you get your site indexed. Just make sure you submit your sitemap to the top search engines (Google, Yahoo, and MSN).

BTW, since you bought the Store Stacker script, I would highly recommend you read the thread on their forums I wrote about marketing your sites on the internet. You’ll find plenty of information there I only use for my customers.
