One of my business associates sent me an email about this, and thought it would be a good idea to share it.
For those of you who don’t know what RSS is, it’s called Really Simple Syndication. What it allows you to do is to display dynamically updated content on your sites, blogs, and of course, Squidoo Lenses. RSS can help you rank higher in the search engines because your pages are being constantly updated with content that’s search engine friendly. That’s why it’s so valuable.
However, according to Mike Liebner, that’s not what’s happening at Squidoo. In fact, the lenses are creating code the search engines can’t read, so it doesn’t help your lenses.
