The evolution of a tweet: or, Twitter as online writing coach – iMedia Connection Blog

I love Twitter. It’s one of the few times when I get to market that it’s actually fun. The thing about Twitter though is you only have 140 characters to say what you want to say, so you definitely need to be brief.

There’s a lot of value in using brevity though. It helps you to learn to write better. What’s even more important, if you want copy of any kind to sell something, then you learn how to target the most important benefit of your product or service.

In other words, you get to the heart of the sales message. If you write any type of pay per click ads, then this is definitely a way to learn how to be a whole lot more brief and write ads that will convert better.
