Memo from a Pink Kool-aid Drinker

Google Adwords and internet marketing expert Perry Marshall wrote an excellent post on the topic of making money online.

Even if you aren’t new to internet marketing and making money online, I still think you need to read this. Perry makes a lot of great points about how there are way too many people out there trying to make money in the internet marketing and make money online niches who have absolutely no experience or expertise to offer. Then they wonder why they aren’t making money.

If I personally had it to do over again, I would probably get into a field that has nothing to do with internet marketing. I would probably do one of my hobbies or something else I am interested in. As a writer I have a lot of interests, but I know there’s plenty out there I can write about.

Another point Perry makes is about the idea that everyone has some type of expertise to offer. Perry shoots down that myth because there are plenty of people out there who don’t have any expertise because they don’t know anything. If you’re one of these people who never takes the time to learn anything, you won’t.

Anyway, before you start a business, you definitely want to read this post.
