It isn’t often I will admit that I am wrong about someone, but this time I’m admitting I am wrong because I want you to benefit.

First, let me explain something. I want you to understand what an internet marketing “guru” is, at least the way I understand it.

An internet marketing “guru” is someone who started out early in the history of the internet using the internet to market, usually around 1997 or 1998, or even before that. These are people that earn six and seven figures in the business. There are however, some exceptions, like Jimmy D. Brown who started a little later, but these people make a lot of money off of internet marketing. Jimmy, however, is someone who actually teaches it, and he makes six figures from his products. Many of these “gurus” actually make a lot of their money from consulting, and their products are really more about direct response marketing on the internet, not internet marketing, which is content based marketing.

Mark Joyner falls into this category in my opinion, but unlike a lot of the internet marketing “gurus”, he’s more like Jimmy D. Brown than he is like these other people. The reason I say this is that Jimmy really does offer value for what he does. I’ve bought a lot of his products, and I’ve been a customer of his for a long time.

Back when Mark was selling internet marketing products, I was a customer of his too. Unlike Jimmy though, I thought he had sold out, and it was all about making money.

Then Mark retired from internet marketing. He had made his money, and he seemed to be done with the internet. That is, until he introduced Simpleology.

Now I feel like I am wrong about Mark because I believe that he is truly committed to adding value to the internet. Not only that, after taking his Simpleology course, I feel like he is genuinely committed to helping others succeed.

If you read my previous post, then you already know about The Secret. This is one of the hottest things being talked about, both on the internet and off the internet. Oprah has talked about it on her show several times, and she’s not the only talk show host to talk about it.

The Secret is really based on the book, The Science of Getting Rich, by Wallace Wattles, and it’s very sound information. Regardless of your belief system, these principles are at work in your life, and they can affect your success in life.

The Science of Getting Rich really is an excellent book. It makes a lot of sense, and I really learned a lot reading it. I’ve even applied many of the strategies in it to change my life. However, sometimes when I was moving into new territory in my life, I had a problem with getting stuck, as well as taking the next step.

This is where Mark’s Simpleology course can change everything.

Mark’s course goes past the basic strategies of how you should think and what you should focus on to how to actually implement these strategies. In other words, he teaches you how to create a plan that will help you get to where you want to be.

You’ll start your plan with your goal and work your way backward to your starting point, and you outline exactly every step you need to take to make your success happen.

This is a truly amazing course, and it really does help you get unstuck.

I’ve read tons of stuff related to The Science of Getting Rich and The Secret, but it wasn’t until I did this course that I knew exactly what actions I needed to take to get to where I needed to be.

That’s what this course will do for you. It will show you what actions you need to take to get to where you want to go.

Thank you, Mark, for creating such a tremendous resource and giving back so much to, not just the internet marketing community, but the internet as a whole.

This course is free. No strings attached. You can sign up right now to get started. It will take you about 15 minutes a day, and in 30 days or less, you’ll see your entire life change. For the better. Definitely for the better.

I feel like you’re being a little to strict with your definition of “guru”

97, 98? I’d say there are some pretty smart internet marketers out there that started a few years after that.

Ultimately, to me, an internet marketing “guru” is someone who is in it for the money. Jimmy D. Brown started after that. Ewen Chia started around 97 or 98. I don’t remember the date. Jimmy D. Brown and Ewen Chia both offer a lot of value in their products and also in what they give away.

What I do know is that a lot of these internet marketing “gurus” don’t care about you, they aren’t interested in helping you market your business. They want your money. Plain and simple. That, and the fact that I feel I was wrong about Mark Joyner, was the point of the post.

How many marketers do you know online who would admit they are wrong? Not many.
