I agree with you. Services are a great way to make extra money and do it relatively fast. The drawback is that it can be time consuming, and the person may not have some kind of skill to market.

If you have a skill, a service business is really easy to start too. I’ll be adding services back into my business in 2009. Just too busy right now because I’m already doing freelance work.

Interesting post – the idea of being able to add your own 1 time offer sounds great so I’m definitely going to check this out.

Just wanted to comment on one of your first sentences though – you said that if someone needs quick money to pay the bills they might be better off getting a part time job… That might well be the case but just on idea I wanted to mention is to check out some outsourcing sites. I outsource some of my link building and article writing and whenever I visit those sites (elance.com, getafreelancer.com etc.) there are loads of people on there earning money for writing articles, installing scripts, doing market research etc. It might be an ideal way of someone to make some money quickly while they are learning about Internet Marketing and building their business… Just an idea!
