A blog is an online journal. You can use it to record your thoughts and share your life with others.
In business, the purpose of a blog is much different. It’s an easy way to establish a relationship with your readers and customers, as well as share news about your business.
You can also use your blog as a way to distribute information, like articles, free reports, and other resources related to your industry. This is what I do.
A major upside to using blogs is that blogs are search engine friendly, and are easy to get indexed by the search engines. With a blogging platform like Wordpress, you can actually use the software to build a complete website by adding pages that contain links to your products, as well as other resources you recommend.
Blogs are also an excellent way to create multiple streams of passive income because you can add all types of ads to your blog, as well as write product reviews about affiliate products related to products you sell.
For writers, blogs are an excellent way to build your reputation as a writer. This also works if you want to brand yourself as an expert in any field.
