Putting your traffic and sales on autopilot is no easy job. It is possible though, if you know how to do it. Your first step is to create a step by step plan to make it happen.

If you sell only affiliate products, then it is a little bit harder because you have to give potential partners an incentive to link to you. (One of the ways to do this is to offer an affiliate program.)

Reciprocal linking isn’t as helpful for your rankings as it used to be. If you want to build valuable backlinks to your website, then you need to build one way links. One way links are links that are pointing back to your website from other sites. These links need to be related to your topic.

It works like this: First, you create a list of keywords that are related to your topic. Then you search for those keywords using a search engine like Google. You find those sites that rank the highest for your topic and complement your site. Then you contact those sites and ask them for a link.

Although this is a simple way to build backlinks and traffic to your site, it is somewhat time consuming. However, it is definitely worth it because the better you rank in the search engines, the more likely others are to find you.

Another thing I like about this ebook is that it’s short. It’s one of the few ebooks I’ve read where the marketer tells you his/her story. For once you get to see inside the life of a big name internet marketer, and he doesn’t gloss over the details of his struggles or try to convince you that internet marketing is so easy anyone can do it.

There is also an upsell on the backend. The upsell expands the principles and techniques that Gold outlines in his free report, and it’s definitely worth a look. One thing he mentions is that if you really want to dominate your market, then you need to provide your customers with a complete solution to their problems. His course gives you one complete solution to getting traffic.

This system is very step by step, and it will teach you everything you need to know about using this technique, including how to write copy, create joint venture proposals that get results, and how to set up your system so that you only work about eight to 10 hours per week.

Squidoo: have you checked your profile lately?

Recently I set up all of my products on Pay Pal to make it easier for me to get paid and pay my affiliates. Unfortunately, what ended up happening is I had more customer support issues, and the whole thing just caused too many problems.

I restructured the program completely because Clickbank came out when some features I desperately needed, and it gave me the opportunity to fix a lot of the problems. It’s also been my experience that most people like using Clickbank better because they feel they have more options for payment. Pay Pal is one of those options, so it allows me to offer as many payment options as possible to my customers.

It also allows my affiliates to get paid weekly or biweekly, something I wasn’t offering using Pay Pal (I paid monthly with Pay Pal).

So, now when you sign up for my affiliate program, everything will be processed through Clickbank. Because I use a very advanced affiliate program management script, I can also extend the length of the cookie, and the cookie is set for 10,000 days instead of the traditional Clickbank cookie, which is 30 or 60 days.

Currently I offer almost 20 different products, including my memberships. When someone buys the membership, the affiliate will be paid for as long as that person is a member.

My affiliate program now pays 50% across the board, and everything is processed through Clickbank.
