Make sure that you optimize your elements and write a good description, title, and metatags for the search engines and include all this in your post.

There are a lot of marketers who achieve status as “guru” within internet marketing, but after awhile you quit reading them. The reason is that you realize many of them are doing nothing more than taking PLR, slapping some new covers on it, really adding nothing new to it, and selling it for big bucks. (I know at least two major marketers who have done this).

Now, there’s nothing wrong with PLR, but that’s not the point. What I mean is that it takes more than just saying you’re a guru in order for you to be a guru. The fact is, Brian Carter is the real deal, and his book definitely backs it up.

This book is so full of information I’m not even sure where to start. He offers up a ton of information that I really wish I had read before I started using Facebook to market, This includes the startling truth about who is really on Facebook and how it stacks up against sites like Twitter. There’s more, but just knowing this information and applying it will ensure you turn a profit from Facebook. That’s worth way more than the cost of this book!

I’ll be honest: the title of this book really doesn’t do enough to show you just how much it will help you. There’s just so much stuff here you can use to tweak your Facebook campaigns and make them profitable. It includes tips on how to really set up your Facebook fan page to get more fans and sales, how to optimize your marketing campaigns for more traffic and sales, getting more comments and likes, and much, much more.

That’s what I liked most about this book: it does tell you how to take this site and use it to market your business without spending any money, and without any of the hype that many courses offer. You’ll get instruction from a master who knows his topic thoroughly and has successfully helped over 5,000 people who have participated in his courses achieve success.

I’ve read a ton of stuff on Facebook. I often find this site to be frustrating and hard to work with. Just about the time you begin to understand how things work, they change it. This book will help you overcome some of those problems by cutting to the chase and then showing you what you really need to be doing to get results on Facebook.

If you only read one book this year to teach you social media marketing, then I recommend you make it this one. It will get you results. I know I’ll definitely read it again, and then a few more times after that to make sure I get it all. It really is that good.

A Review of Derrick Van Dyke’s Affiliate Cash Secrets

Affiliate marketing is one of the easiest ways to make money online because you don’t have to do any customer service, and you don’t have to create a product. This allows you to focus on marketing, and you can start making sales a lot faster because of it.

There are some simple formulas for building effective money making businesses and marketing affiliate programs. One of the best, and one that has been extremely effective is this:

1. Research a topic.

2. Choose a product to market that matches your topic.

3. Create a lead capture page (you will need to buy a domain, autoresponder and hosting for this)

4. Set up your lead capture page.

5. Write your email messages. Should be a mix of content and promotions. Add to your autoresponder.

6. Market your lead capture page.

7. Rinse and repeat.

TrafficXcess is a new site that says it guarantees more CONVERTING web visitors and online advertising with very little effort or cost. So I decided to put it to the test…

My first impression was the site looks professional and clean, with an attractive look and feel. It is easy to read and understand. Joining the site was easy and painless–they do offer 2 upgrade options but they are not required to gain the benefits.

The Members Area is very well laid out and intuitive–I could figure out what to do after only a few minutes and was able to get up and running in less than 5 minutes. Inside the site, you create links and ads–the links you simply enter any URL links you use into the generator and it transforms them into “TrafficXcess” links. You create ads for anything you want to promote using the TrafficXcess Ad Generator, which is very easy to use. You can create as many links and as many ads as you like. And they are organized in a logical way–links are displayed in the order you create them but also your 5 most recent links appear on the main page for quick reference. Also, since the link generator is the tool you’ll use most, it is also right at the top of the main page when you login. Very smart!

After you’ve created at least 1 link and 1 ad you can start to generate traffic. Just use and promote the new TrafficXcess link instead of the original source link you had. Every time the TrafficXcess link is clicked, the page loads followed by a cool slide-up ad window at the bottom. It displays an ad PLUS an image with your affiliate link that goes back to TrafficXcess. So if anyone clicks the TrafficXcess image they see the site, and if they signup they become your referral. It’s a great viral feature because you can build referrals without even trying to just by using the site.

Now every time the ad window displays (your TrafficXcess links get clicked) you earn credits that get YOUR ad displayed in the ad windows when other members’ links get clicked. So the more clicks, the more times your ads get displayed.

And this works virally–meaning as you make referrals into TrafficXcess (either by promoting it or just using it and visitors click the TrafficXcess image on the ad window to join) you also earn ad credits on THEIR link clicks. And this works up to 5 levels deep. So you can create a massive amount of free ad views and web traffic by referring others to TrafficXcess also.

I didn’t get to test the full effect of a big downline yet (I just got the tool) but I can tell you the rest of the site works exactly as stated–my links got clicked, I earned credits, and my ads got displayed. TrafficXcess even tracked my results so I know how many clicks and how many ad displays. That was an impressive unadvertised extra feature.

There is one more benefit and feature which might be the best of them all–downline emailing. You can email your downline with offers, promotions, or whatever you like, and here is where TrafficXcess really shines. They took time to make the emailing often enough that it’s valuable as a user, but no so often that it’s a burden to your downline. But the best part about this feature (and actually the credit earning too) is that it tells you exactly how long until you can mail again. Now THAT’s cool.

Overall I have to say I am impressed with TrafficXcess. It is simple yet powerful, and delivers on its promises. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to increase traffic and advertising.

This book was definitely a whole lot more than I bargained for.

If you’re new to the internet, and you’re looking for a way to learn how to use all of these really cool tools on the internet, like bookmarking, or Google Docs, then you’ll definitely love this book. If you’re an online business owner who wants to increase your productivity, then you’ll love this book even more.

It is, of course, a book of tips, and it does contain 500 different tips. It’s broken down into chapters, and the tips in each chapter covers either a specific site or application on the internet: Firefox, Blogger, Flickr, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Gmail, MySpace, Skype, meebo, Google Calendar and Doc, and Stikkitt. The final chapter covers websites that will pay you to write for them, making this the perfect book for anyone who is looking for a way to make a little extra money on the internet.

Within each chapter, the author then breaks each site or application down into bite size chunks. He shows you how to take each site and get a whole lot more out of your site.

The chapter I especially loved is the chapter on Firefox (I just made the switch because I was having so many problems with Internet Explorer.)  You’ll learn how to quickly tweak Firefox and customize it to make it do exactly what you need it to do.You’ll also learn how to avoid phishing scams, as well as manage everything from bookmarks to addons. You’ll become a Firefox expert in no time.

There’s also plenty in here for business owners with the information on all of the sites where you may now market: Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, etc. These tips will definitely help you with those sites. The chapter on getting organized will help you get your business organized online and help you avoid the hassles of losing your documents. You’ll also be able to make your business more mobile.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking to get more out of the internet regardless of why you are logged on. It won’t make you an expert, but it will definitely make your experience a whole lot more pleasant.
